Hi Guys!
I'm Arian Gallegos, the sophomore president of Mediamax, the professional organization of the School of Multimedia Arts.
I'm inviting everyone now taking up their major subjects to participate in the SOM or Software Overview Modules.
WHAT IS SOM?
SOM, or Software Overview Modules, is a series of MANDATORY seminar workshop modules aimed to familiarize students with the various softwares that they will be encountering during their MMA years.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WORKSHOPS AND SOM?
SOM is a more extensive program: unlike the usual 2D/3D workshop, Photo/Workshop or Web/Graphic Workshop which only offers a limited coverage of information, SOM specializes a particular software per workshop. Unlike the usual speakers teaching the participants, friendly "student teachers" will conduct the classes, enabling the class to conveniently ask questions without reservations.
HOW CAN I JOIN THE SOM?
You may enlist yourselves starting Monday, May 23, in front of the MMA Faculty Lounge (located between ML1 and ML1B), from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Student Assistants will be there to help you.
WHAT WILL I BRING?
We advise you to bring a photocopy of your EAF. Since this is a MANDATORY activity, the student assistants will be the ones who will plot your schedule.
WHEN WILL THE CLASSES START?
Your SOM Class Schedules will be sent to you via e-mail. The SOM will not affect any of your regular class schedules.
For questions, e-mail cityprimate@yahoo.com or text/call 09167053845. Look for Yani. Thank you.
